The High Commission of Sri Lanka in Islamabad,Pakistan, facilitated a donation of human eye corneas to Pakistan. 

Cornea transplants were performed for patients in need at the Armed Forces Institute of Ophthalmology, Rawalpindi. 

A total of 26,000 corneas have been donated to Pakistan over 77 years of diplomatic relations.
