Central Bank of Sri Lanka stated that Sri Lanka’s official reserve assets rose to USD 7,284 million in February 2026.
This marks a 6.6% increase from USD 6,832 million recorded in January.
The country’s reserves have surpassed the USD 7 billion mark for the first time since August 2020.
The CBSL noted that the total includes proceeds from a swap arrangement with the People's Bank of China.
