Minister of Children and Women Affairs Saroja Savithri Paulraj has urged parents to dress preschool children in clothing that covers their arms and legs to reduce the risk of dengue mosquito bites.

She also advised parents to use child-safe mosquito repellents where appropriate and remain vigilant as dengue cases continue to rise.

The Minister noted that the next two weeks will be a critical period in controlling dengue spread.
