Police arrested a total of 1,056 suspects in 1,065 island-wide raids conducted on 14 November under the “Nation United – National Drive” narcotics campaign.

Officers seized significant quantities of illicit substances, including 331 grams of heroin, one kilogram 173 grams of crystal methamphetamine ('Ice'), and three kilograms 109 grams of cannabis. 

Additionally, 52,165 cannabis plants were destroyed.

During the operation, detention orders were obtained for 39 suspects, and 53 were sent for rehabilitation. 

Police also detained 14 individuals linked to criminal activities and 288 persons with pending warrants. 

Traffic law enforcement led to 54 arrests and legal action against 4,189 persons.
