A Colombo-bound train suffered an engine breakdown in the Bulugahagoda area in Gampaha last morning (15), the Sri Lanka Railways Department said.

As a result, trains plying on the Main Line reportedly experienced delays.

The Railway Control Room said that train operations on the Main Line were limited to one track until the situation was rectified.
