The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has decided not to increase electricity tariffs during the first quarter of 2026.

Accordingly, existing electricity tariffs will remain unchanged from January to March 2026, the regulator announced.

The decision provides relief to consumers amid ongoing economic pressures.
