Three schoolchildren injured in a three-wheeler accident near Mohini Falls have been transferred to Dickoya Base Hospital for further treatment.

The three-wheeler travelling from Nallathanniya to Maskeliya veered off the road and plunged into a precipice. The driver and another adult passenger died.

Police said five people were travelling in the vehicle when the accident occurred this morning (22).
