Minister of Health and Mass Media Nalinda Jayatissa is scheduled to address the 79th World Health Assembly today (18), currently being held in Geneva.

The global health summit, which runs from today (18) to 23 May, brings together health leaders and policymakers from around the world to discuss key international health priorities.

During the event, Minister Jayatissa is also expected to hold bilateral discussions with counterparts from countries including Bhutan, Thailand and Bangladesh, as well as representatives from several international organizations.
