Hilton Colombo Residences will host A Celebration of Nikah & Walima, a one-day wedding showcase for couples planning their Nikah and Walima celebrations. The event is scheduled for 7 February, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., at the Union Ballroom, in collaboration with the hotel’s wedding events partner, Heavenly Events.

The showcase brings together a selection of wedding professionals under one roof, including bridal and groom wear designers, jewellers, mehendi artists, photographers and videographers, florists, beauticians and salons, beauty therapists, wedding planners, caterers, cake decorators, wedding car providers, stationery specialists, honeymoon travel partners, cosmetics and beauty brands, financial institutions, and wellness and health product providers. Both western and traditional wedding dress manufacturers will also be present.

Couples who confirm their wedding or homecoming at Hilton Colombo Residences on the day of the event by paying an advance and signing a contract will be eligible to participate in a raffle. Offers include up to 50% savings on wedding and homecoming packages for events with 300 to 600 guests. Confirmed couples will also have a chance to win dinner for six or two guests at FLOW Restaurant.

The event provides couples with the opportunity to engage directly with wedding professionals, receive guidance, explore trends in décor, fashion, and catering, and observe live demonstrations such as mehendi artistry, floral arrangements, and event styling. It is intended to help couples plan their Nikah and Walima celebrations in a structured and informed manner.
