The Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (SLCERT) established a Cyber Security Operations Centre to protect the websites of Government institutions from cyber-attacks.

According to SLCERT, 40 key Government institutions were identified, and that under the first phase of this initiative, steps will be taken to ensure the safety of their websites from malware and cyber-attacks.
