The National People’s Power (NPP) secured a decisive victory in the Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Municipal Council.
NPP garnered 19,417 votes, claiming 21 seats.
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) followed with 8,002 votes and secured 7 seats.
The People’s Alliance (PA) obtained 3,683 votes, winning 3 seats, while 'Sarvajana Balaya' (SB) secured 2,919 votes for 2 seats.
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) also won 2 seats with 2,664 votes.
Other winners include the United National Party (UNP) with 2,233 votes for 1 seat, the United Republican Front with 904 votes for 1 seat, and the United National Alliance with 659 votes for 1 seat.
