Sri Lankan conglomerate John Keells Holdings (JKH) has confirmed that all relevant franchise agreements and necessary preliminary work for the Sri Lankan roll out of Wendy’s – the globally recognised restaurant brand, has been completed.

The initiative of entering Sri Lanka’s Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) segment, is in part meant to expand the conglomerate’s Consumer Foods portfolio.

While the rollout is in its early stages, the first Wendy’s outlet is expected to open by December this year.
