The Agricultural and Agrarian Insurance Board has announced an accelerated compensation process for crop damages caused by Cyclone Ditwah and floods across all 25 districts.
Farmers with insured crops including paddy, maize, big onions, potatoes, chilies, and soya beans are urged to record damages immediately in reporting books at Agrarian Service Centres or inform officers if floodwaters persist.
Damages must be reported within one month to secure compensation.
Awareness campaigns are ongoing, and farmers can seek guidance via the Board’s emergency hotline: 1918.
The process is coordinated with the Department of Agrarian Development.
