Gold prices in Sri Lanka have declined by Rs. 13,000 in line with global market trends.

As of this morning (04), a 22-carat gold sovereign at the Sea Street gold market was priced at Rs. 376,500, down from Rs. 388,500 yesterday (03).

The price of a 24-carat gold sovereign fell from Rs. 420,000 to Rs. 407,000, according to traders.
