Sri Lanka welcomed 98,765 tourists in the first half of July, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA). India remains the top source market, contributing 19,687 visitors, or 19.9% of arrivals.
Other key contributors this month include the UK (10,653), China (6,276), the Netherlands (5,904), and Australia (5,565).
As of end-June, total tourist arrivals in 2025 reached 1,266,809. India accounts for 261,681 visitors, followed by 118,555 from the UK and 113,888 from Russia.
