- Oct. 92 petrol/auto diesel/kerosene increased; Oct. 95 petrol/super diesel reduced
The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco/CPC), the Lanka Indian Oil Corporation (LIOC), and Sinopec Energy Lanka have announced that retail fuel prices have been revised with effect from midnight on Wednesday (31 January).
Accordingly, with regard to the CPC price revisions, the price of octane 92 petrol has been increased by Rs. 5 to Rs. 371 per litre, octane 95 petrol has been reduced by Rs. 8 to Rs. 456 per litre, auto diesel has been increased by Rs. 5 to Rs. 363 per litre, super diesel has been reduced by Rs. 7 to Rs. 468 per litre, and kerosene has been increased by Rs. 26 to Rs. 262 per litre.
Meanwhile, the LIOC has also decided to increase fuel prices in line with the new Ceypetco prices.
Sinopec’s revised prices are as follows: the price of octane 92 petrol has been increased by Rs. 5 per litre to Rs. 368 per litre, octane 95 petrol has been reduced by Rs. 8 to Rs. 456 per litre, auto diesel has been increased by Rs. 5 to Rs. 360 per litre, and super diesel has been reduced by Rs. 7 to Rs. 468 per litre.
