The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has issued a Gazette revising the maximum retail prices for canned fish, effective today (15).

The order prevents manufacturers and sellers from pricing canned fish above the new limits.

The updated MRPs are:

Tuna (425g): Rs. 380

Mackerel (425g): Rs. 480

Jack Mackerel (425g): Rs. 560
