The Department of Meteorology stated that the prevailing dry weather across the country is expected to change from Friday (23).

Mainly dry conditions will continue in most parts of the island today (21).

Ground frost is possible in some areas of the Nuwara Eliya district during the early morning hours.

Misty conditions are also expected in parts of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Western, North-Central and Uva provinces, as well as in Galle, Matara and Ampara districts.
