Madawala Madina College ended as champions in the Kingswood College organised grassroot rugby. They beat Zahira Boys College Katugastota 10/5 in the Cup final.

Madawala Madina Central College excelled in the Ritzbury Super 16 Rugby Carnival 2023, showcasing their talent with victories in the under-12 segment and noteworthy performances in the under-10 segments.

Principal Asanar Raheem, Sponsor and Old Boy Faizal Amerdeen who is currently residing in Australia, Prefect of Games M. Jibreel, Master In Charge, and I.C. Nazmi were instrumental in this win.

The junior outfits were coached by M. Nisham (Bony), and Shaminda Kumar with a lot of success putting their foundation in rugby.
