Registered farmer organisations under the Trincomalee District Office of the Department of Agrarian Development have donated Rs. 3,746,000 to the Government’s Rebuilding Sri Lanka Fund, established to assist those affected by Cyclone Ditwah.

The cheque was handed over to Nandika Sanath Kumanayake at the Presidential Secretariat today (18).

The donation was presented by Kandaiyah Neminathan, Chief Management Services Officer of the Trincomalee District Office, and B.

P. Takshila Deshapriya, Chairman of the District Farmers’ Organization, on the instructions of Trincomalee District Assistant Commissioner of Agrarian Development Nesaraththinam Vishnudasan.
