The Ministry of Education has announced the extension of the closure of all Muslim schools across the island.

The closure, originally implemented on 27 November due to prevailing adverse weather conditions, will now continue until 5 December.

The decision was made as a precaution against the ongoing severe weather and disaster situation in many parts of the country. 

This measure aims to ensure the safety of students and staff while the weather gradually subsides and authorities manage the remaining effects of the disaster.
