A comprehensive investigation has been launched into alleged corruption and irregularities at the Department of Motor Traffic (DMT).

Investigators, including officers from the Walana Anti-Vice Unit, are extracting data from the department’s computer systems as part of the probe.

Experts from the University of Colombo’s School of Computing, Sri Lanka CERT, GovTech Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka Telecom are also assisting with the investigation.
