The BNI Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2023 are an international badminton tournament to crown the best junior badminton players (under 19) in Asia. 

This tournament started at the Among Rogo Sports Hall in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, on 7 July and will go until 16 July 2023. The Badminton Association of Indonesia hosts the tournament with sanctions from Badminton Asia.

The 2023 Badminton Asia Junior Championships consist of mixed team championships and individual championships. Fourteen teams will compete in the mixed team event, which will be held from 7 to 11 July, while the individual events will be held from 12 to 16 July. All Sri Lankans will be competing for the individual championships and they will not be competing for the mixed team event. 

The Sri Lankan team of shuttlers departed the country with hopes of bringing a couple of titles back home.
