Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment Arun Hemachandra met with Șerban-Dimitrie Sturdza and the European Parliament delegation to discuss Sri Lanka’s progress on inclusive governance, minority representation, and compliance with EU standards on democracy, human rights, and rule of law. 

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Sri Lanka–EU cooperation for national unity and stability.
