Prime Minister (PM) and Minister of Education Harini Amarasuriya announced that India will assist in training Sri Lankan teachers and creating opportunities for innovative educators under the new education reforms.
She made the remarks at the opening of a multi-ethnic, trilingual school in Polonnaruwa, built with Indian government support.
The Prime Minister said the partnership will strengthen Sri Lanka’s education system by enhancing teacher skills and encouraging creative teaching methods aligned with the country’s education transformation programme.
