At least three workers are currently trapped after an earth bund collapsed at a construction site in Manikkawa, Mawanella.

The collapse occurred this morning(29), leaving the individuals buried under the debris.

Rescue operations are currently underway to safely extricate the trapped workers from the site. 

Authorities have been deployed to Manikkawa to coordinate the effort. Further details regarding the workers' condition are awaited as the rescue teams continue their work.
