Train operations between Badulla and Demodara have resumed following a landslide at Uduwara 7th Milepost on 25 November. 

The disruption, caused by heavy rainfall, had halted services entirely in the area and limited Colombo-Badulla trains to Nanu Oya, Bandarawela, and Ella. 

Accordingly, the Department of Railways confirmed that all trains are now running as per the regular schedule.
