The Department of Meteorology has issued a warm weather advisory for the Eastern Province and the Kilinochchi, Mullaitivu, Vavuniya, Polonnaruwa and Monaragala districts tomorrow(20).

The Department said the heat index is expected to reach the 'Caution Level', meaning prolonged exposure to the sun and outdoor activities could result in fatigue and heat cramps.

Residents have been advised to stay hydrated and limit strenuous outdoor activities during the daytime.
