A man identified as Kaladura Nimuthu Abhishan, alias ‘Ran Mahaththaya’, was injured in a shooting in Hataramanhandiya, Kosgoda, on 11 July.

The attack, reportedly orchestrated by overseas suspect ‘Shaan Malli’, targeted the three-wheeler owner ‘Bale’, but hit his nephew who was driving the vehicle.

Police suspect a link to a similar shooting two years ago.
