Sri Lanka has reported 29,589 dengue cases and 15 deaths so far in 2026, according to the National Dengue Control Unit (NDCU).
Health authorities have identified 39 high-risk MOH divisions across the country.
The highest number of cases has been reported from the Western Province, followed by the Southern and Sabaragamuwa provinces.
Dengue cases have been recorded in all 25 districts, with high numbers in Colombo, Gampaha, Ratnapura, Matara, Galle, Kalutara and Kandy.
Authorities have urged the public to eliminate mosquito breeding sites.
