The Government has issued an extraordinary gazette notification (2395/33) detailing the public and bank holidays for 2025. 

Accordingly, the notification was released by the Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government, and Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena.
