The National Building Research Organisation has introduced a priority framework to provide compensation for properties damaged by Cyclone Ditwah.

Affected areas are classified into high, medium and low-risk categories, with high-risk zones further divided into Priority 1, 2 and 3.

The NBRO stated that compensation will be paid based on this priority order.

Residents can check their category through Divisional Secretariat offices.

Authorities noted that payments will be issued in phases, even if inspections are completed at the same time.
