The Petroleum Dealers’ Association has urged the Government to take immediate action to ensure a continuous supply of fuel to filling stations.
Deputy Chairman Kusum Sandanayake stated that several filling stations operated by foreign companies were not receiving sufficient quantities of fuel.
He noted that many filling stations remained closed, while those that received fuel had commenced sales.
The Association has called for discussions between the Government and the foreign companies to resolve the issue.
