A meeting with business leaders supporting the ‘Dream Destination’ project to modernize 100 railway stations was held on 23 July at the Presidential Secretariat, chaired by Presidential Secretary Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.
The project, a public-private partnership with the Ministry of Transport and ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ programme, aims to upgrade stations to global standards within six months.
Kumanayake thanked the private sector for their voluntary support, with designs by NIO Engineering and funding from businesses.
