Former Sri Lanka cricketer Jayananda Warnaweera has passed away at the age of 64.

Warnaweera, an off-spinner, played 10 Test matches and six ODIs between 1986 and 1994 and later served as the curator of the Galle International Stadium.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
