Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Israel Nimal Bandara stated that no Sri Lankans have been harmed following Iran’s retaliatory attacks on Israel.

He noted that Israel has banned public gatherings, closed schools and workplaces, and declared a state of emergency.

Ben Gurion Airport remains closed, and Sri Lankans planning to travel to or from Israel have been advised to postpone trips.

The Embassy is maintaining contact with Sri Lankans in Israel and providing safety guidance.
