A total of 159,339 tourists arrived in Sri Lanka during the first 15 days of February, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority(SLTDA).

India recorded the highest number with 26,096 arrivals (16%), followed by the United Kingdom (17,807), Russia (12,607), Germany (12,309) and China (11,560).

Total tourist arrivals for 2026 have reached 436,666 so far.

In February 2025, Sri Lanka recorded 240,217 tourist arrivals.
