The fourth Randoli Perahera of the Kandy Esala Maha Perahera Festival will parade through Kandy today (26), with police enforcing a special security and traffic plan.

The procession will begin at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic at 6.44 p.m. and cover 2.18 kilometres through key streets in Kandy.

Police have deployed roadblocks, security checks, vehicle and individual inspections, tourist guidance and designated parking arrangements.

The Kandy Esala Maha Perahera Festival, organised by the Sri Dalada Maligawa, will continue until August 28.
