The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism has announced emergency assistance arrangements for Sri Lankans affected by the flash floods in Nepal.

Sri Lankan nationals needing urgent assistance can contact the Sri Lankan Embassy in Kathmandu 24 hours a day on +977 985 104 8653 or via slemb.kathmandu@mfa.gov.lk.

For further information and updates, the Ministry has also provided the mobile/WhatsApp number 070 788 7778 for Director General of Public Diplomacy and Spokesperson Thushara Rodrigo.

Sri Lankans in Nepal have been urged to remain safe and follow official updates as rescue and relief operations continue.
