The Dehiwala Zoological Gardens has invited the public, especially children, to suggest names for two newborn lion cubs.

Director General Chandana Rajapaksha said the male and female cubs were born on December 24 and are now four months old.

Visitors can view the playful cubs daily between 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

The Department also announced that children can submit name suggestions starting next week, with the process continuing for two weeks. Winners will receive prizes at a special naming ceremony.
