The Zonal Education Office Tangalle has called for explanations from teachers who failed to attend a meeting held on 15 March at the Tangalle Urban Council.

The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya.

School principals have been instructed to submit reasons for the absence of teachers before 26 March, following a directive issued by the Zonal Director of Education.
