The Engineers’ Association of the Road Development Authority (RDA) has launched an indefinite trade union action from today (21).

The association cites salary anomalies and unmet demands despite previous discussions with authorities.

RDA engineers will withdraw from external coordination committees, including district and divisional meetings.

The union says engineers will also refrain from duties not formally assigned under the RDA Act.

The association warns that project coordination could be affected if the issues remain unresolved.
