The Sri Lanka Natural History Society will hold Public Lecture no.3 of 2026 on Thursday(14)at the University of Colombo.

The lecture will be delivered by Professor Devaka Kirthi Weerakoon of Zoology and Environmental Sciences, focusing on five key elephant behaviours linked to managing Asian Elephants in Sri Lanka and human–elephant conflict.

It will be held at 6:00 pm onwards at the Auditorium, 6th Floor, Information Learning Centre (Library) Building, Faculty of Science, University of Colombo.

Admission is free, and parking will be available.
