Sri Lanka’s state-owned commercial bank Bank of Ceylon (BOC) approved a dividend contribution of Rs. 5 billion to the General Treasury, its sole shareholder, on Thursday (3).

The official notice of this contribution was handed over to the Finance, Planning and Economic Development Ministry Treasury Secretary Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma.

Treasury Deputy Secretary Dilip Silva, Department of Public Enterprises Director General Athula Kumara, Bank of Ceylon Chairperson Kavinda de Soysa, General Manager Russel Fonseka and Chief Financial Officer Ruwan Kumara participated in this event.
