Engineer A.M.P.C.T. Bandara officially took office as the Chairman of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB).

Bandara, who has a strong background in engineering and prior experience in both the private construction sector and ministerial service, began his tenure with a strategic review meeting alongside senior NWSDB management.

The session was followed by a formal gathering attended by Urban Development Minister Anura Karunathilaka, Ministry Secretary Ranjith Ariyaratne, outgoing Chairman Deepti Sumanasekara, and other top officials, marking a smooth transition in leadership.
