Sri Lanka welcomed 107,093 international tourists during the first three weeks of September, according to the latest figures from the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).

India remained the largest source market, accounting for 32,536 arrivals, followed by the United Kingdom with 7,906 and Australia with 7,393.

China and Germany recorded 6,409 and 5,440 arrivals respectively.

The September figures have pushed Sri Lanka’s total tourist arrivals for 2026 to 1,642,215.
