The new budget proposal which is expected to be submitted in November by Minister of Finance Basil Rajapksa can be compared to Alladin’s magic lamp, Minister of Lands S.M Chandrasena stated at a press conference yesterday (14).
Chandrasena, who made these statements with “much responsibility” went on to note that the budget proposal will be well accepted by all and will have all the factors required to develop the country.
The Minister added that manufacturing sectors will be included as well and highlighted that it will support an increase in food manufacturing.
“It will be a budget that no one will anticipate and it will bring in a revolutionary change to the country,” he stated while expressing that the “mud slinging” Opposition needs to be informed of the same.
