An inferno broke out at the Damro mattress factory in the Urapola area in Nittambuwa early this afternoon (21). Speaking to The Morning, Police Spokesperson SSP Nihal Thalduwa confirmed that no casualties have been reported due to the incident. "The entire factory went up in flames and was burnt to the ground, but no casualties have been reported. An investigation will be conducted to find out the source of the fire," said Thalduwa. The Wathupitiwala Base hospital also confirmed as well that no casualties have arrived to their Preliminary Care Unit either.
