Breakdown in Norochcholai power plant

A breakdown has been reported in Unit 1 of the Norochcholai Power Plant today.

This announcement was made by Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijeserekera today (15) via a twitter post.

“Technical staff is working to identify the fault. Unit 2 is undergoing scheduled maintenance work. Unit 3 will continue to operate,” he tweeted
