President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today stated that the Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith had conveyed his faith in the Presidential Commission of Inquiry(PCoI) probing the Easter Sunday attacks.
Rajapaksa made these comments during a meeting with Media heads at the Presidential Secretariat today.
He added that the Cardinal had not sought for any changes of the members in the commission.
Rajapaksa said the Commission had been progressing well and he had already received two interim reports on the Easter Sunday attacks.
He added that the recommendations from the PCoI and the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) will be looked into and presented to Parliament in due course.
